Field recording can be a relaxing, enjoyable past-time which allows you to get outdoors and create remarkable stereo recordings for personal enjoyment. Field recordings can also be in high demand for movie soundtracks and other commercial purposes, so you might end up making a career of it!
You will learn about specific microphones and microphone techniques used in stereo field recording, plus the basic sound science behind audio recording and manipulation. No prior recording experience necessary.
